Debian 项目领导人选举：Anthony Towns, Jonathan Walther, Branden Robinson 和Angus Lees表示，他们将参加接下来的项目领导人选举，所以现在开发者们可以有6个选择对象了，选举活动已经开始，将在3月21号截至。Helen Faulkner 和 Martin F.Krafft将在3月19日的一场IRC频道辩论会上会充当主持，将向那些Debian开发者们征集相关提问参选者的问题。
更好的亚洲地区支持：两家亚洲公司宣布将加入通用Debian GNU/Linux的基础开发，努力推动基于Debian的Linux系统在亚洲市场的占有率。位于日本东京的VA Linux系统公司的CEO Osamu Aoki(青木 修)指出，在亚洲市场，特别在中国和日本，开源运动正在得到广泛和支持和接受，另外存在的问题是，目前没有足够的亚洲开发人员从事用于支持各种工具和系统的亚洲本地化工作。
发布小组会议：Steve Langasek报道了一个在Vancouver举行的所以有关发布小组人员参加的会议，感谢NUUGF的赞助，他们讨论了Sarge在正式出炉前所需准备的一切，同时也在考虑是否在Sarge发布前来个临时预发行版。
Debian项目领导小组：Jeroen Van Wolfelaar宣布召集一批可以持续保持高度关注Debian项目的开发者，组成一支Debian项目领导小组，以配合即将产生的项目领导人的工作，这样Debian的开发脚本就不会由一个人来控制。
APT 迁移状况报告：Florian Weimer发送了他的第一个向Sarge发行版中迁移APT0.6的进度报告，他希望有志愿者可以帮助他进行测试，编译新的前端界面，报告成功和失败情况。
Subversion自动生成Changelog：Torsten Landschoff想知道是否有工作可以跟踪Subversion，自动生成和升级Debian/changelog文件。Joey Hess提供了一段脚本用于采取部分changelog文件生成日志信息。
处理Buildd问题：Thomas Bushnell开启了有关用buildd网络进行编译新的XF86软件包的问题。在一种系统平台上它会显示缺少磁盘空间问题，在另外的平台上又会出现别的问题。Stebe Langasek已经就这个细节问题要求开发者们向Buildd管理者发电子邮件了。
