虽然还在发展 PHP4，但是 PHP Group 还是於日前释出了 PHP 3.0.16。这个版本大部份都是在修正一些臭〖，并且支援 gd-1.8、ucd-snmp 4.1、和在 OS/2 上使用的较高精确度的计时器。除此之外，对 OpenBSD 的支援也有做改进。
