Among the major changes since the alpha release some three months ago are: "Improvements to sound detection; major look and feel enhancements for installer; KDE 3.5.4 with standard OpenLab patches; bug fixes to hotplug system and WiFi support; kernel 2.6.17.11; HFS iPod support; Amarok 1.4.2 with iTunes and libgpod support; new German installer translation; package synchronised to Slackware 11 RC1; Firefox 1.5.0.6...."
